SOCCER PRE-SCHOOL ADVANCED 7 - 8 YEARS OLD

Soccer Pre-school advanced programme is the next step for players enrol in EduSoccer Academy classes. This is the age where players can begin to understand the concept of working with a teammate. We are focused in this programme on the development of the child technical skills (more advanced that in the other programs) and some basic tactical skills. In this programme we will integrate also some generic movements (balance, coordination, agility) in the warm up.

We will develop their decision making ability because the 7 and 8 years old demonstrate more developed thinking skills as well as the ability to solve problems by their own with creative strategies. Parents should encourage their children at this stage because the feeling of being a good player during the training and during the games will increase the confidence, the motivation and in this way will increase the development of skills.

At this level competition is not required and may be often counter-productive to the acquisition of the technical skills. (5 V 5 games will be played, but not goal will be counted).

Our training sessions are an excellent opportunity for you as a parent to encourage your child to fall in love with the “beautiful game”.

Our view (parents – coaches – academy directors) must be common to succeed.

This programme will run all year long. Selection starts at this level in our Academy. The selection will be based on technical progress. We want to build our programmes with children that want to progress.

Training sessions for both fall 2014 and winter 2015 will take place every Friday from 7:00PM to 8:00PM at: Centre Greene - Westmount Community Center, 1090 Avenue Greene, Westmount, QC H3Z 1Z9.

Duration of the training session is 60 minutes. We will start to make 2 training sessions per week starting from this program in 2015.
